Just as endometriosis manifests itself in different ways from one woman to another, the treatment options are equally varied: for example, the use of medications to combat the symptoms, mainly pain, the surgical removal of endometriosis sites or targeted hormonal treatment. Above all, it is the therapeutic objective being pursued in a particular case that determines which of the various forms of treatment is chosen. What is more important – treating infertility or combating the pains? Should the doctor aim to remove the disease as radically as possible and reduce the risk of recurrence? These questions are discussed in the interview with the patient. There
is an individual solution to the problem for each woman suffering from endometriosis. The form of treatment
and possible combination of different treatments needs to be adapted to the patient’s situation on a
